Many couples view their pets as family members, and it's becoming common for them to request incorporating pet elements into their custom wedding ring designs.
This custom wedding ring order came from Aika and Bryant, a couple who adore their two fluffy bunnies: Haohao and Beibei. They cherish their adorable pets and wanted their wedding rings to feature a bunny theme.
As someone who’s never owned a rabbit, I had a delightful conversation with them about their bunnies' personalities, and they shared many adorable photos with me!
After discussing the design in detail, we decided to take a more abstract approach with a minimalist design, ensuring the rings are comfortable for everyday wear.
For the materials, they chose 14k yellow gold and white gold, respectively. The rings were designed as open bands, capturing the gentle nature of a bunny snuggling around a finger. One end of the ring features the bunny's side profile with its long ears elegantly curving to form the band, while the other end is shaped to represent the tip of the ears.
In terms of design, the female ring has softer, more delicate lines, while the male ring has stronger, bolder lines. Together, the rings resemble a pair of bunnies snuggling up against each other. We also used a new texture on the ring surface, hand-carved to mimic the fine texture of bunny fur. The smooth, lustrous finish catches the light beautifully!
Lastly, the couple chose to engrave custom text on the inside of the rings. At Chia Jewelry, all custom wedding rings can be engraved with your personal choice of text and font!
This was the first time I created custom wedding rings featuring a pet design, and I’m thrilled to have crafted something so special for them! It was heartwarming to see how much they loved the rings.
In addition to bunny-themed wedding rings, some clients choose to engrave their pet’s paw prints or nose patterns on the inner band—another fantastic idea for a personal touch!
