This pair of bespoke wedding rings was created for a couple with a deep love for nature. Their wedding ceremony took place under a majestic, centuries-old camphor tree, a symbol that holds special meaning for them. They wanted this connection to be reflected in their wedding rings, with the camphor tree as the central theme.
Before the design process began, the couple had a clear vision of what their dream wedding rings should look like. They envisioned rings inspired by the bark of a camphor tree, with intricate details engraved around the band. A single camphor leaf would adorn the front of each ring, symbolizing their love for nature and their bond with this significant tree.
Both individuals are professionals in the botanical field, so they wanted their wedding rings to accurately represent the details and characteristics of the camphor tree. During the design process, we worked together to carefully study various aspects of the tree, from the texture of the bark to the shape of the leaves.
The couple selected two camphor trees of different ages. The older tree was chosen for the groom’s ring, while the younger tree was chosen for the bride’s ring. This decision symbolized the balance between maturity and youth in their relationship.
Detailed Engravings for Bespoke Wedding Rings
I consulted with the couple about the specific details they wanted to include in the rings, such as the bark’s unique texture, the veins in the leaves, and even the small waves along the leaf edges. We incorporated these elements into the design through meticulous engraving and crafting techniques, making sure to bring their vision to life in every detail.
The groom’s ring features the textured bark of the older camphor tree, polished to a high shine for a refined finish. The bride’s ring, on the other hand, represents the younger tree with a more delicate bark texture and a matte finish. The leaf designs were finely tuned after multiple discussions and adjustments, ensuring the perfect representation of their love story.

Despite the tight timeline, we completed the rings just in time for their wedding ceremony, where they exchanged vows under the very same camphor tree.
