They held their wedding ceremony under a giant camphor tree, which they wanted to incorporate into the design. The rings feature the tree’s bark texture and leaf details, symbolizing their love for nature and deep connection to each other.

Let’s share their thoughts on the custom wedding ring process!
Chia: Can you briefly introduce yourselves?
Clients: Hello! We’re a couple drawn to nature and the forest, and we both left our original professions to return to school, where we met. We hope to live closer to nature in the future!
Chia: Why did you choose Chia Jewelry to design your wedding rings?
Clients: Honestly, we’d always felt that if we ever got married, we’d have Chia design our rings! We’ve been following Chia’s work for a while. Maybe it's because Chia is also a nature lover, or perhaps it’s because we admire her creations. Either way, we knew we wanted unique rings designed by her. Plus, having her blessing makes it even more meaningful.
Chia: What memorable moments stand out from the design process?
Clients: Everything! From deciding to commission the rings, sketching out rough ideas on our hands, to the moment Chia assured us she could make the rings despite a tight deadline—it was all unforgettable! We meticulously studied camphor tree leaves and branches, and Chia carefully adjusted the tree bark texture repeatedly. She even took a walk in the park, photographing camphor trees to share with us, which made us feel connected to the trees together.
The details she carved, like the tiny fruits, brought the rings to life. We were so excited! Each step of the process—from joking with each other in the group chat, to feeling guilty for being picky about the leaf proportions—was special. When we finally received the rings, we were amazed at how every intricate detail turned out perfectly. It was an emotional journey.
Chia: Can you share the inspiration behind the ring design?
Clients: We both love the camphor tree and have a special connection to it. Our first trip together as a couple was to visit the famous old camphor tree , and it left a deep impression. My partner proposed to me under that tree, and we later held a small wedding ceremony there. We also learned about the tree’s history—how most camphor trees in Taiwan were cut down for camphor oil export, and now they’re commonly found in parks, with wild ones being rare.
Our rings not only represent our love but also let us share the story of Taiwan’s forests and trees with others. We’re so grateful to Chia for helping us create something so meaningful and full of blessings.
Chia: Do you have any message for the designer?
Clients: We’re so thankful that you took on such a rushed and challenging project for us. We feel so fortunate. We can’t wait to wear these rings for the rest of our lives!
